    How could we turn a classic case of corporate need into a piece of entertainment?
    How could we engage an audience of existing customers with the details of the whole of La Rose Noire's processes?
    We turned the story upside down! Instead of highlighting the positive points of production, we lead the audience into a dramatic exploration of LRN operations from the perspective of hired investigators.
    For what was a rather dark movie, we had to come up with a positive resolution to ensure the audience came away informed and satisfied.

    Sopexa and Inter Rhône jointly launched a "Red Emotion" video competition to promote the French Côtes du Rhône wines.

    Squeezed in between other important commercial projects we had little time to join.
    Cliff who was fascinated by the many colours of wine "robes" (colour, transparency, texture) decided however to participate, and we gave him our best support.

    The clear and beautiful visual, supported by a multi-cultural comedic soundtrack made it a great movie for TVC commercial.

    Originally from Belgium, Marijn Coertjens developed his passion for chocolates from an early age and through the tutelage of renound pastry chefs in Europe and Asia, developed into one of the top chocolatiers in the world today. 

    Currently the Maitre Chocolatier at The Peninsula Hotel, Hong Kong, and this year he has entered the World Chocolate Masters competition after winning the opportunity to represent his country at the Belgian Chocolate Masters competition. 

    As part of his entry for the World Chocolate Masters, he had to create something that helps create an adventurous story about his inspirations.

    To celebrate the launch of their (already very successful) second shop in Tsim Sha Tsui, La Rose Noire asked us to produce a video that would reflect their long-term vision.
    With shop rental being the major hurdle for any brand expansion in Hong Kong this video is primarily geared to seduce property owners.

    The challenge set by the Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong was relatively simple:

    1) Shoot a highly ambitious, yet low budget project 
    2) At 7 different locations, including 2 Michelin Starred restaurants 
    3) In the course of a single day without creating any disturbance to their guests or operations

    We proposed to bring Charlie Bear to life without using any 3D artifice to maintain the human element and the holiday feel.

    This project required a meticulous storyboard and tight management of our production schedule.

    We had five different bear puppets, each with different movement capabilities such as walking down a staircase, using chopsticks, or diving in a pool.

    The proceeds of the Charlie Bear sales were given to the Hong Kong Cancer Fund

This dynamic mix of concept, direction, individuals and techniques, we created an awards animation that would kick off their ceremony in the best possible way.

    The FCCIHK contacted Filmages requesting a celebratory centrepiece for the leaving party for one of their colleagues. This whole video was shot on a Saturday, on a tight budget and all done in a few hours.

    A special mention has to go to the cast as they spent many hours sneaking in rehearsals so their colleague would be none the wiser!

    For this presentation video, we were briefed to create a dynamic and informative video for this charity.
    Their aim is to create as many aspiring directors, camera operators and video editors for tomorrow. So of course, this is a project very close to our heart!
    This project gave us the opportunity to use different techniques, allowing us to flex our creative muscles.and adopt techniques we wouldn’t have the opportunity to!

    How do you fire up a party?
    By inviting La Rose Noire's mischievous Mini-macarons and Amuse-bouches!

    To promote this new line of finger-food products we created a light-hearted comedy using stop-motion animation to give life to bit-size delicacies.
    We wish we could say that no Macaron was harmed in the making of this video, but that wouldn't be true. Stop-motion animation takes time, a lot of time, and we had to frequently relieve the "actors" from duty.

    Data is flowing faster than many organizations can manage. We produced a teaser video to attract I.T. executives to download a white paper on big data, converged systems, virtualization, cloud computing and so on...

    A bit of a dry topic? Well, we managed to develop an original and catchy animation to raise the eyebrows of busy I.T. experts.

    Our ITX character is simple, yet tells a rather complex story with basic movements and facial expressions.

    One month later; a jazzy tune, casual voice over, an eye-catching color scheme and some delicate transitions bring the Hitachi Data Systems' technical findings to life.

    We had worked with L'Oréal's travel retail marketing team on several projects, so to celebrate their huge achievements they wanted to make a fun, team-spirited video.

    At this time it seemed like every company felt like a Lip-Dub video was a must-do.

    But we were more than happy to indulge, because we had a lot of fun working in harmony with the staff.

    Pourquery approached Filmages to create an animated video, which would promote their bicycle testing services at the Taiwan bicycle expo. Instead of showing the testing machines, Filmages focussed on the clients' benefits in terms of customs and legal compliances, as well as user safety.

    The challenge - capture the attention of visitors to the Pourquery amongst a myriad of visually dynamic colours, carbon and chrome exhibits throughout the expo.

    The solution - Filmages proposed the creation of a colourful illustrated video exalting the importance and necessity of product testing, rather than concentrating on the physical act of testing.

    The Marden family wanted to celebrate their daughter Isabel's birthday their own way, with a little help from her friends.

    With a few special words from her loved one's, Filmages put together this music video to put a smile on Isabel's face.

    We rarely do private events, but Jacques Boissier is a good friend of ours. 

    Jacques is a Frenchman, and is a keen diver; the ultimate frogman, as some might say.

    Now here's the special part: We took photos of his friends during the cocktail party, edited them in to the video during the dinner, and showed the video just before dessert, ending the night on a high note.

    Needless to say the attendees were pleased by the animation, and even more amazed to see themselves in the video.
