Our clients and friends from La Rose Noire were celebrating their 25th anniversary, and we had the priviledge to write their stage's script. Here is the first excerpt:

"If the whole story of the universe, since its creation to today, was measured as 1 year,
our solar system would only appear on the last quarter,
birds and flowers would only appear in the last 3 days,
humans would only appear in the last minute,
and modern history would only start in the last 5 seconds.

So 25 years is not much, really.
One can argue that it is a quarter of a Century; but in the grand cosmic scheme it is virtually nothing, less than a blink of an eye, and it is humbling.

Yet, the 25 years that we are celebrating today represent an incredible journey,
filled with wonderful people,
hard work,
amazing achievements,
and I hope you will agree; delicious outcome.. "

A hulking machine that danced with light in the middle of the neo-classical lobby was a surprisingly elegant sight to behold.

Our cameras had to play along to find the right angles that captured it's unique movement.

Written by playwright Bryony Lavery and performed by our young actors aged 8 to 18, this thrilling version follows the emotional and physical journey of a young hero thrust into a world weighted with treachery and betrayal.

We have been supporting Faust's theatre shows for a few years now, but shooting this particular movie was an interesting challenge because; 
1) it was shot by a single cameraman who had never seen the show before 
2) it was filmed within a single rehearsal, without any interruptions or retakes

The Peninsula Hong Kong's legendary French Restaurant welcomed back two of its former chefs for an Gaddi's Alumni weekend.

In August 2014 former Gaddi's chefs Daniel Lichtensteiger, who previously graced the restaurant from 1990 to 1994, and Philip Sedgwick, who helmed the kitchen from 1999 to 2004, returned to the site of past glories alongside current Gaddi's Chef Rémi van Peteghem and Executive Pastry Chef Ludovic Douteau. Between them, the four culinary wizards concocted a series of spellbinding dining experiences that combine signature dishes from the past and present to captivating effect.

Our memoir video captured the extraordinary talent, synergy and friendship of the quartet.

They say a true appreciation of art comes from perspective. This year the Landmark turned the way we look at art upside down.

A blend of projection, installation and magnification altered the way their guests admired these stunning pieces.

This specially comissioned public exhibition, designed by William Lim, showcased artworks worth over $140 million.

Getting the chance to witness and capture this spectacular sight? Priceless.

Performing a classic piece of Roald Dahl requires a certain cheekiness that the Faust kids had no problem in channelling.
As an actor you become used to putting on many hats and these youngsters brought their characters to light once they put on theirs, ears included!

When it comes to decorating for the holidays, there should be no half measures.

The Peninsula brought in the festive cheer with full force, building a life-sized gingerbread house and a giant model train set, and of course, there was still room for a Christmas tree!

Shot over three consecutive nights, the crew became completely jetlagged but had to quickly shift back to other daytime shootings before shifting back once again for New Year's Eve party.

A hike is always challenging, having to hike and shoot is even more challenging. That is what we had to do for Leitner Ropeways, as there are no roads along most of the 5.7km cable car trail. In addition to this we shot all the components of the internal workings of the cable car & strapped a Go Pro to capture the view as if you were in the cable car too.

We then sent all the footage to Leitner, for them to create an edit for all of their cable cars from around the world.

How many steps does it take to get married?
According to Hongkong Land, only 53.

This shoot was particularly challenging, as we had to adapt and overcome the conditions placed on us by the Photo-shoot and Mother Nature.

In shooting a behind the scenes of a photo shoot, we must discreetly capture every aspect of the photo shoot, without ever delaying or disturbing the primary shoot.

During a dress rehearsal, we went behind the scenes of a classic story to capture the energy and excitement of the Faust kids.

The challenge was to quietly capture the magic without interrupting the artists at work.

We went behind-the-scenes and captured the glamour of a high-end photo shoot, and as usual we had to work discreetly around the photographer.

Back in the edit room we decided to highlight specific elements of fashion by using a magnifying graphic system. This allowed us to showcase details on accessories, wools, and furs and show how breathtaking winter fashion truly looked like. 

To celebrate 20 years on top of the industry Hong Kong born superstar Karen Mok displayed 20 hand-selected exhibits, giving fans an intimate look at Mok's rise and the making of 'Moknificence'.

Although we were not producing Filmages' rendition of Ip Man, filming Donnie Yen for a behind-the-scenes video brought a different set of challenges. Since we had limited time with Donnie, we had to make the most of it.

For the Fall/Winter 2012 season, Yen demonstrated his impeccable taste for fashion while strolling past luxurious One Central Macau shops such as Dior, Ralph Lauren and Gucci.

This photo shoot was fun. And we're not just saying that because of the trampoline.

We correlated lavish outfits with the letters of Landmark and by intertwining dynamic motion graphics with stills from our footage we literally spelled out Hongkong Land's most fashionable entity. 

Kids are kind of like squirrels. They might be cute, but they’re fast and unpredictable too.

So, to film this Danone - Cow & Gate TVC Behind The Scenes with children we had to be very alert, and engage in their games to be in sync and capture their magic moments.

As of July 10, 2015, on Cow & Gate HK's YouTube Channel this video had reached 146,719 views, making it their second most popular video behind the heavily promoted related TVC itself; 240,675 views.

"Mummy, I love you..."

Cute as a button, but that's not something you can ask a 2 year old to say on cue.
Luckily we have a ton of experience with kids of all ages.

The only thing that the models at Landmark's "Fashion's Most Wanted" photo shoot are guilty of is stealing the show.

For TimeOut's open mic night at the über-trendy Salon de Ning bar we went into stealth mode and captured the rapturing performances of not-so-amateur singers.

This instalment of One Central Macau's promotional movie starred fashion model, magazine cover girl, and actress Gaile Lok (at that time Gaile Lai). 

The Macau-born supermodel stunned the cameras as she highlighted the Spring/Summer 2011 fashion and different parts of One Central Macau's allure. 

This promotional movie was followed by two more, featuring Mainland China Megastar Huang Xiao Ming, and "Ip Man" Donnie Yen.
