How could we turn a classic case of corporate need into a piece of entertainment? How could we engage an audience of existing customers with the details of the whole of La Rose Noire's processes?
We turned the story upside down! Instead of highlighting the positive points of production, we lead the audience into a dramatic exploration of LRN operations from the perspective of hired investigators.
For what was a rather dark movie, we had to come up with a positive resolution to ensure the audience came away informed and satisfied.
Cartes in Asia
2011
For the second consecutive year, GL Events commissioned Filmages to produce a short presentation video for Comexposium's “Cartes in Asia Summit” in Hong Kong.
The main topics of this year’s conferences were mobility, payments, smart technologies, digital security and IoT. To catch the audience’s attention immediately, and centralise the human element within the story, we created a kick-off video featuring a hand manipulating smart technologies with various interfaces in everyday situations
The apparently simple animation was based on outline strokes animated using one hand, which required advance motion graphics with a few tailor-made sound effects. The final video was a startling surprise for an audience of tech buffs. It helped the client strenghten its corporate image as an innovative event organizer.
NPG Company Presentation
2010
Newsprint Group wanted to create a powerful corporate video presenting its fully integrated packaging and ticketing service. Offering the essential elements of garment presentation to their customers, Newsprint Group wanted to keep clients and partners’ attention on their proven expertise in design, production and finishing.
Firstly, Filmages’ responded with a brainstorming session to figure out how to present so many details clearly and concisely. The plan was to create an impactful marketing campaign using original designs and motion graphics.
Using a stylized typeface, maintaining the light blue color throughout and using special visual effects, highlights all stages of their production to reflect their credibility, speed and accuracy.
