LANDMARK - 53 Steps Down the Aisle
LANDMARK - 53 Steps Down the Aisle
2014
How many steps does it take to get married?
According to Hongkong Land, only 53.
This shoot was particularly challenging, as we had to adapt and overcome the conditions placed on us by the Photo-shoot and Mother Nature.
In shooting a behind the scenes of a photo shoot, we must discreetly capture every aspect of the photo shoot, without ever delaying or disturbing the primary shoot.

When it comes to sampling whiskies, the best advice is to follow your nose.
The Filmages crew take a tour through the Landmark's subterranean shopping arcade, sampling some of the finest whiskey whilst browsing the latest in men's fashion and gadgets.
LANDMARK - No Dress Code
2013
We went behind-the-scenes and captured the glamour of a high-end photo shoot, and as usual we had to work discreetly around the photographer.
Back in the edit room we decided to highlight specific elements of fashion by using a magnifying graphic system. This allowed us to showcase details on accessories, wools, and furs and show how breathtaking winter fashion truly looked like.

Fall/Winter 2012 Fashion with Donnie Yen
2012
Although we were not producing Filmages' rendition of Ip Man, filming Donnie Yen for a behind-the-scenes video brought a different set of challenges. Since we had limited time with Donnie, we had to make the most of it.
For the Fall/Winter 2012 season, Yen demonstrated his impeccable taste for fashion while strolling past luxurious One Central Macau shops such as Dior, Ralph Lauren and Gucci.

LANDMARK - Landmark of Style

This photo shoot was fun. And we're not just saying that because of the trampoline.
We correlated lavish outfits with the letters of Landmark and by intertwining dynamic motion graphics with stills from our footage we literally spelled out Hongkong Land's most fashionable entity.

Kids are kind of like squirrels. They might be cute, but they’re fast and unpredictable too.
So, to film this Danone - Cow & Gate TVC Behind The Scenes with children we had to be very alert, and engage in their games to be in sync and capture their magic moments.
As of July 10, 2015, on Cow & Gate HK's YouTube Channel this video had reached 146,719 views, making it their second most popular video behind the heavily promoted related TVC itself; 240,675 views.

Missed your last Yoga class?
Don't worry, maybe instead you can try to capture on film the subtle but fleeting expressions of a toddler at play.
Crawl all day on your knees, elbows, and belly.
We did, and it hurt.
But you will have to agree that the result was worth the back pain.
LANDMARK - Opposites Attract
2012
East and West, Curvy and Geometric...
Behind-the-scenes of this fashion shoot we lightened the mood given by the abstractly shaped stage background by developing a connection with the models.
LANDMARK - The Art of Whisky
2011
Unfamiliar with the subtle distinctions between whiskey and whisky? Between wheat, barley, malt and rye?
Missing knowledge about pit moss, oak barrels?
Hongkong Land VIPs were treated with an evening of spirited knowledge with the gold liquor guru Ron Taylor and his unmistakable Scottish accent.
We must say that the dark environment stretched the limit of our camera's ISO sensitivity down to its knee.

Fall / Winter Collection
2010
Catwalks and lookbooks are the go-to methods for showcasing a new fashion line, but we decided to blend these elements together and bring them to life through video.
Filmages went behind the scenes of a fashion shoot for Liliane H to highlight the movement and textures of her Fall/Winter collection.
Hullet House
2009
Originally built in 1881, the historical site where Hullett House stands today is one of the four oldest surviving government buildings in Hong Kong. For more than 100 years it was occupied by Hong Kong’s Royal Marine Police.
To celebrate its renovation and re-opening to the public, as an ultimate lifestyle destination, we juxtaposed representations of the golden era of the 50s - a cheongsam dressed model with matching hair and make-up - next to modern day Hong Kong.
Additionally, we brought back to life old black and white postcards and, in doing so, encapsulated the rich heritage of this colonial era landmark.
