Originally from Belgium, Marijn Coertjens developed his passion for chocolates from an early age and through the tutelage of renound pastry chefs in Europe and Asia, developed into one of the top chocolatiers in the world today. Currently the Maitre Chocolatier at The Peninsula Hotel, Hong Kong, and this year he has entered the World Chocolate Masters competition after winning the opportunity to represent his country at the Belgian Chocolate Masters competition.
