Lunar New Year - Rabbit
2023
Pet rabbits have been genetically modified to become extraordinarily cute, fluffy, and utterly dumb.
Yet, Rabbits wouldn't have made it to the great Chinese Lunar Cycle Zodiac if they didn't have something special.
Inescapably, we had to bow to the client's request to feature the ubiquitous cute bunny.
But we also drew from the Monkey King legend to magically reveal the powerful best of breed-er...
Entirely drawn and animated in-house.

Nowadays most corporate annual meetings start with a kick-off video, then with the Chairman's address. Better than nothing, but still quite old school.
Although not represented in this video for confidentiality reason, we actually wrote the outline of the introduction speech to sync perfectly with the video.
The abstract dimensions of the visual perfectly matched the leadership address. The audience was literally mesmerized by the synchronicity.

During their annual conference, and after the traditional kick-off and welcome messages, the CEO got right down to business.
"Last year we got together, we brainstormed, we devised strategies... we talked a lot. But did we walk the walk? What happened when everyone went back to their desks?"
He left the question pending... and this is when our movie started up.

After commissioning a video presentation for their upcoming seminar, Sonepar gave Filmages some existing material with which to start building a video. But there was not enough to truly represent their global reach as it only focussed on their business in Europe.
Considering that they are represented in 17 Asian countries, this presented a very unbalanced picture. So, with very little time and material available, Filmages decided to redress what we had to create a video that fully exposed the Asian arm of Sonepar.
By adding snapshots of the people who make up the Sonepar Asia operations teams, Filmages produced a video which lifted up the Asia Pacific image on the global management stage.

From Singapore, Austrailia, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and China, Sonepar managers were converging for their annual Leadership meeting.
Our task was to deliver their new mission brief to them, loudly and clearly.
Opening with an engaging Blockbuster theme we made them feel like heroes ready to jump into action.
The response was thunderous and set a high energy mood for the three day conference.

Rolling out a new unified HR system is a major achievement for a global company.
Getting people to adopt and use it, is an entirely different challenge altogether, particularly when the target audience is spread across very diverse Asia-Pacific countries.
By creating a light-hearted and engaging animated video, we introduced the big picture of functionalities and benefit.
Nobody can tell for sure the impact of such an introductory video in real life, but wouldn't you agree that it helps to raise interest and make the first step less intimidating?
Well, that was the point; and it seems that we reached the bull's eye.

When asked to produce an event presentation video, we looked deep into how the company is wired discovering the pillars that held up their market-leading operations.
We wanted a strong visual representation to tell this story and what better way than through the dynamic sport, Muay Thai.
